Use a script: Write out your questions in advance and this keeps you on track. I have to stick it in people's faces to get acceptable (to me) audio quality. In addition to soliciting donations and reminding viewers of the donate button on your livestream, ask them questions that they can answer in the chat box. Someone on the call had moderator access and was able to flip the slides (I had them memorized) and they also read any of the questions in the chat line to me. I used the chat as a backchannel and invited people to add questions or comments as we went along. But, there were great questions. Now, that has never happened.
