Rather than asking people to donate material items directly to your organization, you can create a public wish list on an e-commerce site like Amazon where your donors can buy items you need directly online.

For example, accepting gifts of stock by opening a brokerage account, accepting Venmo donations, accepting cryptocurrency , and accepting donations from Alexa (Amazon devices). Donate your skills (graphic design, strategic planning, human resources). Do a raffle, sweepstakes, contest, or giveaway in your community.

Since this was an experiment to test social networking, I did not send an appeal to friends and family in the way people do when they raise funds for a run or walk, or want you to vote for a particular contest. Other in-world possibilities include things like virtual one-on-one counseling, conferences, protests, benefit concerts, education centers, contests ??? ve also been interested in watching what the American Cancer Society has done with its virtual walk-a-thon in Second Life. you name it and I bet it will eventually be done.
