Soon afterwards in 2007, we won our first major award from the United States Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), which, in turn, allowed us to build Bookshare into a national asset. This experience helped us prove the potential of Bookshare to meet the needs of students with disabilities.

copyright law. Bookshare has grown tremendously from the 3,000 students that we were serving in 2007. They send Bookshare the same digital book files that they provide to Amazon, Apple or Barnes and Noble. Our lower cost model made it practical to invert the power structure.

Yesterday, they published the list of organizations that have lost their exemption from paying income tax due to failure to file required reports in 2007, 2008, and 2009. The National Center for Charitable Statistics notes that 90 percent of these organizations have never filed any kind of return. This is great news.

19 Sep 2007 Michael Hoffman Tim, you are right. Traditional fundraising is all about building a donor file, usually with a mix of major donors and lower value donors. One way the political campaigns have created urgency is at the time of the FEC filing, where they have to report how much money they have raised. OK, you got me.
