Second Life kiva.org volunteer: Julles Boucher Kiva.org , a micro-finance organization, has funded nearly 17,0000 loans to entrepreneurs in developing countries and last week crossed the $11 million rank. I discovered this when I clicked on Skeeboo Tammas's profile while chatting with him in Second Life. His profile said.

Back in December after Clay Shirky's piece on Second Life, Stan who writes the PacificRim Exchange Blog took out his " I'm Sticking With DOS " buttons from the attic to make some points -- maybe something about keeping an eye on the future horizon. Now this should set the stage for an interesting debate!
