If it were not for MySpace, my professional life no doubt would be much less fulfilling. At it’s heyday, a few hours a day sending friend requests and posting wall comments on MySpace profiles quickly resulted in large, thriving online communities. MySpace was designed to be a marketing tool. MySpace is not dangerous.

Social networking requires commitment -- you can't set up a MySpace profile and then walk away. You have to approve new friend requests, respond to messages, post your latest action alerts, send out bulletins, keep your profile up-to-date, and more.
