There is a lot of text on the site (this should be changing soon ), but this snippet says it best: Net?? This site, and the Net?? What is it? We don't know exactly what the Net??

These services are powered by the RSS feeds that each network offers to its users and makes following activity across sites easier and in one spot. In fact, I watched Laura crowdsource some of her presentation on FriendFeed. FriendFeed also has "rooms" that can be public or private - these feeds with discussion items.

Extension programs use wikis, flickr, blogs, tagging, and other tools to share information and content. By using tagging and RSS extension programs are able to exchange information and share content freely. Nutrition or fill in your Extension topic/subject area in Blog posts , in tags and in the Blog Directory. It's messy.

The tagging community that lies beneath the npdigg structure has taggers, consumers, aggregators, and meta aggregators. Netsquared Technology Innovation Fund which is high on the agenda of this year's Netsquared Conference.

I originally wrote this post for the NetSquared Blog. Provide rss feeds to the whole blog, and to individual bloggers' feeds so readers have a choice of how they want to subscribe. You will definitely get more commenters if they don't have to create a login and password on your site to participate, at least in the beginning.

nonprofit technology thought leader Marnie Webb created the NpTech Tag as a way for nonprofit techies to share bookmarks on del.icio.us. Marshall Kirkpatrick , who was working with Netsquared , whipped up the NpTech Metafeed which allowed folks to aggregate items tagged by nonprofit techies from many distributed sources.
