Our agency has that functionality - we have disaster web site, email address and phone number on our ID badges to let the agency know where we are and what is happening, but there isn't any connection outside.

And I said, well, what if somebody wants to watch Netflix on their company laptop? But if it’s eight o’clock in the evening, and I’ve got my organization laptop at home, and I want to watch Netflix, like, who cares, right? Say you’re allowing employees to access email on their personal mobile phone. So that’s an example.

We've tried to get word out through the media and through every Facebook relief page we could find that we are open for cell phone and computer charging and have good Internet connection. We have set up our laptop lab for overflow from the regular lab. Today people are beginning to come in for computer use.

It probably won’t be until 2015 or later that tablets reach the point where they can replace a laptop or desktop completely – office application use is still too stunted by the small screens and keyboard issues – but more and more people will have them. Our information we send out will be viewed on phones more and more.
