They could be delivered to a junk mail folder or possibly worse, not delivered at all and rejected as spam by the receiving mail server like Gmail, Hotmail, AOL, Yahoo!, Help your recipients avoid the “This is Spam” button/link at all costs. In today’s modern email marketing environments, lots of focus is placed on design and content – which we can all agree are very important aspects of any email campaign. It will also help to prevent people from marking you as Spam. This component is called segmentation! The worst thing you can do: not segment your audience.

Unfortunately, some international traffic is likely to be from spammers & spam robots, but most are probably legitimate. If you try to use your regular email, you run the risk of being marked as spam, looking unprofessional, and not being able to measure open rates. CAN SPAM laws so you don’t have to worry about it. Use graphics, charts, photos, and video to break up the text and give the reader some eye candy. Good images.
