I met lovely people in engineering, but I found the work to be too detail-oriented and microscopic in scope to satisfy me.

If you do something great and exciting for families in Queens, you are going to get a virtual United Nations of visitors. We also met with key members of the maker community in New York and nationally. We set up a website and gathered several hundred applications, from which about 400 were selected for participation.
