In an effort to raise awareness for child abuse, thousands of Facebook users changed their profile photos to one of their favorite childhood cartoon characters (full disclosure: mine was Underdog.) If it’s not fun, rewarding, or cool, viral campaigns rarely take off. Did you notice something toony about Facebook last weekend?

In neighborhoods where birthday parades, bear hunts, and makeshift graduations ceremonies have been commonplace, the creation of neighborhood events and gatherings are a fun and appropriate choice for socially distant events. In reimagining their fun run/walk, staff recently announced changes to their annual campaign.

The nonprofit lets the impact stand on its own on certain pages – no pictures, very little language, and lots of white space. org combines a lot of the elements we love from the reports above: Fun colors to keep the reader engaged, interactiveness, and a sticky table of contents that follows the reader as they scroll down the page.

Please give so that we can end childhood hunger in India and help these children realize their full potential. Our new playground equipment has turned our backyard into an oasis of fun for our resident kids to play and just be a kid. Pictures and Videos Can be Worth a Thousand Dollars They can also be worth a thousand words.

Some of my best childhood memories are from going to public grade school. Making friends was hard, but learning was fun. Writing a report on wolves and taking a picture with a Polaroid of a wolf in a book so it would look like the wolf was in my backyard (: Being the lead in the school play, Really Rose.

Louie’s Kids is a nonprofit that fights childhood obesity and promotes family wellness. . People naturally look at pictures before reading text.
