In our search for collaboration tools we've been looking at web sites that in one way or another make use of the wiki model - pages which are freely editable by a community of users. Probably the most dramatic wiki project is the wikiPedia - an online encyclopedia edited by -- the entire world.

Frustrated with online project management tools

Gantt and/or clear calendar view that includes milestones and multi-day phases - bonus if it syncs with Google Calendar. Don't want tickets/case management, don't want wikis, don't want blogs, don't want "here's what I'm eating for lunch" status updates - need to be able to to tailor interface to only what we need/want.

Online Communications that Don't Suck

One organization spent 10 hours a month maintaining an online calendar. When we reviewed their website statistics, we found that nobody ever visited that calendar. In addition to our AIDS.gov website, we also have an AIDS.gov blog. Wouldn't you like 10 extra hours a month? I know I would. DC Central Kitchen.
