That said, for someone like me ( Heather Mansfield ) who is very uncomfortable on camera in real life, it’s not uncomfortable being an avatar of myself in Oculus. You can be anyone you want in Oculus.

If your event is broad in scope, consider creating avatars for each attendee group so you can really take a look at what their motivations may be for attending. Incorporate QR codes to unlock additional features or downloadable content that can be accessed for reference after the event.

A handy little tool when designing a YouTube channel, Twitter profile, MySpace page, blog, etc. Simply enter your nonprofit’s name and Addictomatic then creates a page of all your search results for easy future reference. A great source for images for your nonprofit’s website, blog, e-newsletter, and social networking profiles.
