Like all good stories, your final script should have a clear beginning, middle, and end. A phone tripod or tripod app (to prevent shaky filming). STEP THREE. Assemble the right equipment. Use a script: Write out your questions in advance and this keeps you on track. I have to stick it in people's faces to get acceptable (to me) audio quality. Speaking of good audio, I raised this question on the video bloggers listserv and David Tames (who took the photo stills in the video) offered some great tricks here.

I would bring the laptop and plug into the phone line and do demos in small groups. There wouldn't be a local node or the phone had some weirdness that prevented me from dialing out successfully. Like the time I was doing a session in an artists loft and the phone jack was 150 feet away and my phone cord was only 125 feet.
