I was in Alaska for the summer as an AmeriCorps Summer Crew Leader. We worked on finding sites, and then mailed out 15 letters. It was from a church in the community. In the case of Los Angeles, a node of domestic violence shelter mailing addresses actually led to a Post Office located in a high-wealth area of the city. and closer to understanding the "nonprofitness" of community.
