Practically, what this means is that the principle component of our program is a Community Health Action Committee (CHAG), responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating their own public health and social development projects. Our committee gets the chance to assert the community’s rights, and see that it has an effective voice.

Can you talk a little bit about why they used arts, and why it was an effective tool? The children are ages 6-16, and they're making huge strides by leading a national movement against child rape in Zimbabwe.
