In the beginning, TechSoup’s Marnie Webb, Daniel Ben-Horin, and Billy Bicket created NetSquared to "remix the web for social change." To get going, they built the first NetSquared website using open-source Drupal. The NetSquared website was itself designed to be a model Web 2.0 Podcasting. Google Maps.

I don't have as much experience with podcasting considering I just put my first one up this week, but I thought I would share how I did it for anyone who was interested in producing their own. I chose Gcast because you can easily embed your podcast into your blog or webpage. I hope that helps aspiring podcasters.

You can listen with google alerts, technorati, Twitter search, and RSS readers. You can also share the impact of your organization's programs through podcasts, sharing photos on Flickr, or videos on YouTube or other video sharing sites. The key skill is pattern analysis and of course, using what you find to inform decisions or actions.
