Not only did they raise their initial $220K goal to $300K, they surpassed that stretch goal by an additional $30K. By conveying urgency in their appeal, ITEC has raised over $133K so far. And guess what?!

My fourth personal fundraising campaign was to support Leng Sopharath , an orphan from Cambodia, for her junior year at college. The money goes to the Sharing Foundation. which manages the program. But it took me three weeks.

Photo by Shel Israel. They would match donations $1 up to $2,000 I raised for the project. And, since I raised an additional $15 over goal, I used that money to purchase a t-shirt from the donor who put the campaign over the top! The last leg of the campaign was raised primarily on Twitter.
