Be A Voice for Darfur is an excellent example of multi-channel campaign designed to bring attention to the appalling genocide in Darfur. The genocide in Darfur continues - now in its sixth year and at the price of nearly half a million lives. Most importantly, you can influence others to stand up and be a voice for Darfur.

It isn't often that you can't wait to keep reading a book about genocide, but that is how it was while I was reading Not On Our Watch: The Mission to End Genocide in Darfur and Beyond by Don Cheadle and John Prendergast. Several months ago my colleague Mary Joyce (who I met at the Global Voices Summit in London in 2005 ) and who is now at the Berkman Center pinged me and asked if I knew any digital activists in Southeast Asia. moving from Darfur to Burma to whatever cause is next. taking place across various social media sites, including Facebook.
