Threads is primarily meant to be used through the mobile app, but for your reference, your Threads username is displayed in desktop browsers as threads.net/@yourusername. You can post from the mobile app, from your desktop, and very soon via third-party apps, such as Buffer and Hootsuite. You can upload a video up to 5 minutes long.

Facebook empowers non-profits by enabling them to mobilize communities, organize events, increase fundraising, reduce costs with free online tools, and raise awareness through viral networks. When you start to write in the "write something" you get options to add links, photos, videos - post things that are beyond promotion content.

During the Webinar, I polled the group’s general approach. The Google Hangout (Group video chat) has some potential to be useful for learning. I am avoiding spamming all three networks with cut and paste streams. A few activists for privacy rights have had active conversations. It could also be used at conferences.

The Real-Time Web: it's more than just immediate delivery of Twitter messages to an always-on mobile device, disrupting the concentration that civilization is based on and bringing a rush to crazed social media addicts obsessed with the hottest new buzzwords. They are like broad, topical, personalized blogsearch with good spam control.

That’s equivalent to sending an email to your supporters and 98% of your emails going to spam folders. Once approved, you’ll be able to add a “Become a Supporter” button to your page and your live video posts. Perhaps improved storytelling (text, images, videos, polls, stickers, etc.)
