Nptech resources can be found on delicious , flickr , slideshare , and Twitter. Peter Campbell leveraged RSS to pull the tagged items into nptech. If users have to create an account, that in itself is a barrier, but it will allow you to delete accounts that spam. That can make it difficult to navigate.

A new social networking site, called “Quetchup&# spammed (without permission) the contacts of people who signed up for the site. And, yet another login and password.

I found it because I have an RSS feed for a twitter search on the nptech tag. I like to track the data, but also think about what it means for nonprofits.

We moderate comments because of spam and word press has a good tool for spam, but you need to moderate. It is a challenging and exciting at the same time. Do you moderate comments or not?

You can also use RSS to pull in content from other sources like Flickr and WordPress. TINT will automatically blacklist usernames and keywords to prevent spam from competitors or vandals. You can even approve or reject posts before they show up live to prevent spam or profanity from ever appearing on your aggregated feed.
