Instead editing is, or should be, a collaboration — where multiple perspectives combine to shape content so that it can better connect with audiences. Whose voices are you choosing to elevate? This doesn’t mean you need to turn your copy into a Wikipedia article. That’s not how we should approach editing.

Teens are developmentally focused on social identity-building and may feel more compelled to share their voices and express themselves than others than other visitors.
