I ran another googlefight using the word "tagging" instead of the Folksonomy and tagging won! Holly also posted a response to the How Are You Using the NpTech Tag with " Taxonomies are for Chumps " post. all you need do is just tag something "NPTECH" and mention "folksonomy."

For background, in the 3 previous NMC conferences I have been involved with since starting my job there in 2006- we’ve done mainly a “tag this conference” approach where we ask people to tag photos, web sites, blog posts e.g. 2006 , 2007 , 2008 where I cobbled together some summary pages using mainly my own Feed2JS code.

This illustration along with the notes tool in flickr shows how the NPTech Meta Feed 2007 Version 1 - which is an aggregated feed of all sources that people tag resources with the nptech. That takes some of the duplicates out of the tag stream. What you loose is the original source - who tagged it.
