Whether you or not you understand how to use tags, chances are you have come across them if you have ever used blogs, YouTube, Flickr, Twitter, or bookmarking sites such as Delicious. Blogs, photos, video, and bookmarks can benefit from the use of many tags when they are uploaded.

The idea was to embed the functions of existing social sites like Meetup , Flickr , and del.icio.us. social bookmarking (now called Delicious ) by using their APIs on the site. (An site in which people could interact and collaborate with each other to create a virtual community. Most of the content was (and is) user generated.
This site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

Take for example the upcoming podcamp in Boston that is using a wiki for registration, program planning, note taking, and virtually all the logistical details or any of the barcamp gatherings. You can get rich photo streams when participants a) have and use digital cameras b) understand and use tag based photosharing services like flickr.
