The general sessions are definitely worth tuning into (Kofi Annan and Kumi Naidoo) and the education sessions will no doubt provide some valuable new insight into fundraising trends.

They don’t establish any future relationships or revenue streams. Diverse funding streams are the key to success. A sponsor who provides monetary donations or in-kind donations like services or a venue can be listed on all the marketing materials…banners…bookmarks…t-shirts and so on. BUT the flip side?

The tags you use to describe something should be intuitive so you can recall the bookmark. The other aspect of delicious is that I can participate in a tag stream that is of interest to me. That stream of tags that comes through everyday is very rich and a valuable resource. If just one other person bookmark, it shows a link.

I came across Jeremiah Owyang's definition of online community -"An online community is: Where a group of people with similar goals or interests connect and exchange information using web tools" and it defines the tagging community. The NpTech Tag started as an experimental community tagging project in 2005.

Instead, I dip into the NpTech Tag Stream and notice this post from NTEN about a new book about nonprofits and technology. Here's the definition given the chapter: Circuit riders travel throughout regions of the United States and parts of Europe providing technology assistance to nonprofit organizations.
