A PSA is communicated via radio, television, online, and via other media formats without charge so that the public is aware of the issue/topic and can take action. . By creating a script with pronunciation as well as a pre-recorded audio file, you’ll have a better chance of your PSA airing since you provided a variety of options.

We aren’t always aware of this, but sometimes it can be very uncomfortable to listen to someone else’s story. As you are listening to a story, try to deepen your self-awareness. My process for digging into the emotions and details of a story is to listen and (typically) record the audio of the conversation.

During this phase: Check audio to make sure speakers sound loud and clear. If multiple people are speaking in the same session, ensure they all wear headphones to prevent audio feedback. Map Out Your Email Strategy in Advance. Contact Local Media. Check lighting to make sure speakers’ faces are well lit.

She re-mapped the data in Google Earth and shared the new map with community members, local politicians, and presented it at the community meeeting to a much different response. Raising awareness and providing local communities a venue for sharing their story.

The most touching part of the program was when some students from a local middle school came up and presented him with a check for $1,325 for the Hotel Rwanda Rusesabagina Foundation that they raised by selling sweatshirts with their school name on the front, Piedmont Middle School, and "Be an Upstander.
