I went to school for music education and, up until this point, had a long-winding road learning how to write code in Google Apps Script. I’d never coded anything before diving into Google Apps Script a few years earlier. Over the years, simple scripts took shape that developed into more complex scripts that became indispensable.

Both programs are lighter editions of Photoshop, Adobe's popular photo-editing application, and Premiere Pro, its robust video-editing application. The Elements applications are simpler alternatives to Photoshop and Premiere Pro that share many of the features of the larger products. Is It Right for My Organization?

Firefox, is, of course, the FOSS application that is on more desktops than all the others, combined. Right now, I’ve got AdBlock Plus, Greasemonkey (which is a scripting platform that allows for lots of other interesting addons,) Tor (allows for anonymous browsing,) a bunch of google toolbars, some great web developer tools, etc.

There are tons of other add-ons for all of the Mozilla Suite applications. I use several Greasemonkey scripts for Flickr: AllSizes+, How Interesting?, I’m trying out some new themes soon. { 1 comment… read it below or add one } 1 M. at 8:50 am Thanks for the tip about AdBlock Plus.

This method is great for its ease of use and immediacy but will not allow you to add any sound effects, music, or cut in other voices and input. On the high end, Adobe Audition offers professional level audio editing tools, but for most podcasts, comparable quality can be achieved with the cheaper applications.

I’ve been using databases since I was a grad student in the 80s, and I’ve been designing and developing database-driven applications for the web since 1995. It comes with a scripting language and interpreter, called ‘ij’ which is how you can interact with Derby on the command line. It is also cross platform.
