It's more personal than e-mail in many ways when someone takes the time to leave a comment for instance. I'm not in as much turbo mode as he was (after all I'm a part-time blogger). So the work flow goes -- check for new comments, respond, check RSS feeds, decide whether to write about it, rinse cycle and repeat.
