We have the group set so topics are public, but only members can post and membership has to be approved to avoid spam. Free/Freemium is a business model. Not a model I trust very much these days. Tagged: customerservice , Google , rant. I still get email for other groups, just not NPSF. I looked in every setting.

Yikes, the first ever tag spam I've seen in the NpTech Tag Stream! Then, I remembered the phrase flowed through the NPtech tag stream about six months as a reference to interface design.) Some really cool events flowing through the NpTech Tag Stream! Many individuals tag hundreds of resources each week.

Let’s say you wanted to find a model museum using Web 2.0 The real show in the museum was a series of canvasses showing tags--graffiti--and the curator and education department installed a wall in the middle of the gallery so that visitors could tag (we provided colored pencils, and people brought their own markers and stickers).

It’s a simple way to express appreciation for partnership and an excellent means to steward corporate sponsors. Not anymore.

The contemporary organization is the wrong model for civil society, the corporate structure in particular is dysfunctional, and human beings fit more naturally and are more empowered in communities, movements, and networks. They are both spam magnets and I have enough trouble dealing with email spam as it is.

When I asked about the content of the rejected comments, I was surprised to hear that it was neither spam nor hate speech that kept comments off the site; it was redundancy and lack of quality.
