One of the more exciting iPhone apps to appear in the last month or so is CauseWorld that uses a new form of "embedded" giving that I dubbed " Foot Traffic Philanthropy." I had a lot of fun playing with the app over the holidays and generation donations to a handful of charities. A couple of examples: California HealthCare Foundation.

I loved what he said about Premal Shah - that he wanted to apply for a job at Kiva after hearing him speak. Kiva is at the intersection of money and meaning. Never underestimate something that is fun and has short feed back loops. If we want people to engage, it has to be easy, fun, and addictive.
