That's my avatar with a fez I pocked up in Virtual Morocco in Second Life, a student project! I've been curious what a virtual Angkor Wat or other cultural wonders of the world look like in Second Life? The students will be presenting this formally in a week or so.

The live video feed was being streamed from the Netsquared gathering in San Francisco happening at the same time as the virtual gatherng in Second Life. Jeska Linden , Community Manager for Linden Labs, has the mike in her hand, while her avatar is behind the podium in Second Life. that didn't last long or ruin the event.

At Harvard Law School in real life via the Berkman Center, there was an fascinating discussion tonight called " Legal education in a networked world." You could also watch a video cast on the web as well as in Second Life. and that's when I missed a good portion of the discussion.

Some of the examples and recommendations from this month’s chat included: UN Food&Ag Org (FAO) has done a great job with their Share Fairs – sharing the discussions and training on and offline.

The role of the Journalist Panel is: These journalists will be given priority access to the teachers and on a permission basis will be allowed to interview students with teachers present.
