This is an important trend to note because over the past few years, the open rates were declining. Overall, email open rates held steady between 2010 and 2011.

Overall Fundraising Trends The Blackbaud Index of Charitable Giving is a broad-based fundraising index that reports total revenue trends of 1,430 nonprofit organizations representing $2.21 Small and medium sized organizations had a positive growth trend, but large nonprofits were negative over this period of time.
