My guess is that they don’t want to follow a lot of Twitterers because they don’t want to clutter their “Home” feed, and I understand that, but nonprofits can easily manage the chaos of following hundreds or thousands Twitterers by simply organizing them into Twitter Lists. As of today that number is 82,250.

The live video feed was being streamed from the Netsquared gathering in San Francisco happening at the same time as the virtual gatherng in Second Life. Jeska Linden , Community Manager for Linden Labs, has the mike in her hand, while her avatar is behind the podium in Second Life.

He uses a red haired avatar , so that has been my mental image of him. I'm not in as much turbo mode as he was (after all I'm a part-time blogger). So the work flow goes -- check for new comments, respond, check RSS feeds, decide whether to write about it, rinse cycle and repeat.

why does someone spend so much time in a game world customising their avatar???? There are other nonprofit bloggers who do not use their real names. Britt Bravo wrote a post called "Ten Ways Nonprofits Can Use Blogs and Bloggers" a while back. social media rather than try to develop their own (competing) ones.
