I wrote a blog post called, Mashups, Open APIs, and the Future of Collaboration in the Nonprofit Tech Sector. The updates introduce Semantic Analysis and Natural Language Processing (NLP) capabilities to the Social Actions API and begin to connect Social Actions to the wider Linked Open Data community.

He talks about the benefits of both putting book content online *and* also allowing people to engage/comment/mashup the text. This also applies well to what a lot of our clients who are focused on accomplishing - trying to have their policy analysis content reach the widest possible audiences and have the largest possible impact.
