The Core are people who do most of the work (think wikipedia editors.) I used the tag #packnet and asked for the "Poor Man Dummies Guide to Social Network Analysis and Mapping Tools." While there are some sites, like YouTube, Wikipedia, and Flickr, that are fairly easy to understand, there are hundreds of others with no clear differentiated value. Extension programs use wikis, flickr, blogs, tagging, and other tools to share information and content. By using tagging and RSS extension programs are able to exchange information and share content freely. Nutrition or fill in your Extension topic/subject area in Blog posts , in tags and in the Blog Directory. It's messy.

It makes us uncomfortable with opening museum content up to comment, tagging, and alterations by visitors. On the accuracy front, sites like Wikipedia have developed methods of community authoring and editing that make them more voluminous AND more accurate than traditional encyclopedic sources.
