Unplug chargers for computers, cell phones, iPods, and other chargeable devices. According to Green Home Huddle "Your cell phone charger, iPod charger, laptop charger, etc. keep drawing electricity even if your phone/iPod/laptop/etc isn't charging. Unplug TVs, VCRs, and DVD players. Turn down the heat.

As you know doubt know, airports are not designed for travelers with laptops. There were few plugs at the gate, so I asked this young guy named Alex who was using the plug to recharge his Ipod if could share. We started to chat about technology and I asked him a few questions about his use of web 2.0 Alex is on route to Fiji.

I rely on technology to keep my life organized. Everything is nicely synced between my desktop computer, laptop and iPhone. An iPhone or iPod Touch is too small for her to get much use out of the keyboard with her fine motor challenges. I don't keep anything in my head I don't have to. The iPad will be perfect for her.
