We are poised to grow not only Bookshare.org, but all of our projects. This event was very exciting, as we have never previously received federal funding for Bookshare.org. The project has been so successful at raising student reading skills that they hope to provide similar services to their non-disabled students as well.

She is donating 100 percent of the royalties from the book to the Global Fund for Women. And it didn't take a year, it took five to finish that first project, which combined those elements that I had hoped to pursue. I did only enough of it to continue to fund this new addiction that I had, and also to keep up my frequent flier miles.
