Profiles VS Pages. Profiles are for individuals, Pages for Organizations. Recently redesigned pages to be more like profiles. Profiles are optimized for individual communication. All pages require ADMIN - designated FB profile - for security reasons because they want a real person. It's intended to prevent spam.

At it’s heyday, a few hours a day sending friend requests and posting wall comments on MySpace profiles quickly resulted in large, thriving online communities. It’s worth noting that all three still regularly login to their profiles MySpace. The SEIU is the best profile I have found, but clearly they need some inspiration.
