This year alone, Joseph Perez created an entire collaborative program that uses hip hop to teach students about life.

To get people in the mindset for brainstorming, I lead them through a couple of improvisation exercises that teach acceptance and openness to new ideas. This approach would also create capacity for new voices and new ideas to be engaged in the environmental movement. All together, participants came up with over 500 ideas.

I'm a personal believer that you can't teach someone to be an entrepreneur. I don't think you can teach someone to be an entrepreneur. We do it both through personal mentoring, but also with the right skill sets. Too often we give the resources to the communities that have the loudest voice. Someone is born with it.
