Spam, obscenity--they just aren't an issue at all. We get so much spam on MySpace, whereas on Flickr and Facebook and the blog we never get spam. That’s why we’re not in Second Life. #1, We look at the equation and say maybe Second Life isn’t the right fit for us. MySpace is, but Facebook isn’t.

They will be using Skype, Second Life, Facebook, and MySpace. We moderate comments because of spam and word press has a good tool for spam, but you need to moderate. Jenny is about to pilot a 12 Week Training Program. The program introduces how to use the technology, but also social skills.

the Exploratorium did something really big for the August 1 eclipse and they are all over Second Life (source: Technorati ). The majority of blog traffic mentioning the Exploratorium in the last month has focused on their coverage of the eclipse and a variety of Second Life initiatives.
