She told me, "I probably don't have to mention this to you, but you are of course free to put this under a public domain, BY or BY-sa license." In fact, copyright is not necessary to accomplish that end.

My favorite bit so far is the jobs map. . You can see the administration gets that -- from the jobs map and the chart of how money is being spent. Remixing the content: Government content can't be copyrighted, so you're free to grab and reuse any government created content on the site.
