Very likely you are making observations today that will influence your strategy implementation tomorrow. There is correlation, but the underlying influencer of both is temperature and season encouraging both ice cream consumption and water sports. Ironically, Congress is seldom a good example of a truly representative sample.

Tad Druart, Convio. The study suggests that peers will play a bigger role in influencing donations. Are you giving your supporters the tools and messages to influence peers? Also keep in mind (Chart 2) where they are going to get information. Is it all consistent? Yeah, more people to do fundraising solicitations!

It should come as no surprise then that the political campaigns often influence nonprofit best practices as well. Of course, this is where I insert a plug for my former employers, GetActive and Convio, who each powered parts of Dean’s online campaign and went on to bring these tools deeply into the nonprofit space.
