Let’s start with some examples (many of which were also presented at AAM): The Monterey Bay Aquarium maintains an Ocean Action group that visitors can join to get involved in advocacy for marine life and conservation. Their website includes a clear, concise "What Can I Do?" They balance the rhetoric with the opportunity.

84% of people comment, 82% message others, and 39% create content. Tim says MySpace is not good for fundraising, although we have seen some examples of orgs running successful fundraising campaigns, such as Dollars for Darfur. On Second Life : Tim and Carie both say stay away. Funny, another negative note on Second Life.
