And if you have a case study, or some interesting results or insights, post em here in the comments. We have almost 40K people "supporting" us through a cause, and no actual tie to them!

From teaching supporters how to create Facebook accounts to ol fashioned door-to-door fundraising, Amy Eldridge from LWB, an admitted Facebook newbie, says its as much the offline as the online work that gets the job done. It was definitely a full time job during the last 2 weeks of the contest. What goals does the org.

We know that lots of orgs have heard some variation of this from their bosses—“We need to get on the Twitter!” It has evolved as a way to engage customers, and increasingly policymakers and industry insiders, which GM valued at $180,000/year by measuring the number of customer comments. We planned to use the ads for list-building and promoting our resources, as well as for advertising job openings and increasing brand awareness, so all of our landing pages included links to resources and a sign-up box to join our e-mail list. I cringe when I see the tons of mail environmental orgs send every year. Think about it. I never give in response to a piece of mail.
