When you have worked in a field a long time (for me it has been over 3 decades), you have to keep an open mind about remembering and reflecting on what you have heard before — looking at as if it was new. In the US, I gave workshops at nonprofit conferences in North Carolina, Virginia, Florida, Missouri, California and at SXSW.

The app was a finalist in Microsoft's 2011 Imagine Cup, a student technology competition. As more tablets and smartphones are making their way into the classroom, it makes sense that there are a number of apps aimed at helping young people with their education and job preparedness. Ideally, audience research should be done before you design your workshop or course. I have learned the feng shui of how classroom setup impacts interaction and learning.
