Their grantees come from all over the world and the fund partners with organizations thematically with a current focus on economic empowerment.

Growing Pains Founded in 1926, AbilityFirst (formerly known as the Crippled Children’s Society of Southern California or CCS) was created to help children with polio and other physical disabilities, and I was hired in 1998 to turn around this disability service organization. After five years, we finally balanced the budget.

Empowerment for our participants comes from connecting to an inner wisdom that is often kept hidden from public view, but is a place of extraordinary innate strength and well being.
