When I was a kid, Lucy the Elephant , was in a state of disrepair. A community group worked hard to get her placed on the historic register and raise money to restore her to her mid-century glory. Bake sales organized by my third grade teacher, Josephine Harron or was known as "Cupcake." s World Food Programme.

Before I go further, I have thank everyone for the early birthday present - a donation to the Sharing Foundation. January 11th is my 52nd birthday and even though I'm an official member of AARP, I couldn't wait for my birthday this year. Why? Why? And, yes they did !
