Thousands of nonprofits haven’t logged into their MySpace profiles in months, or even a year or more. That said, MySpace is not dead. Traffic has definitely sloooowed, but the site still has 57 million monthly visitors in the United States ( as of December 2009 ). They want a human behind the avatar.

In the meantime, nonprofit staff can prepare for the launch of the new brand pages, also known as Google+ Entity Profiles , by creating a Google Account and then setting up your personal Google Profile (which then also becomes your personal Google+ Profile when you get invited to join Google+ or the site comes out of beta).

BubbleTweet : BubbleTweet allows users to embed a video directly onto their Twitter profiles. Twibbon : Twibbon allows your followers to embed ribbons, icons, etc.

The hours don’t reflect exactly how much time one should spend on the sites themselves, rather the time spent and the time necessary researching and preparing the content for each social network, setting up and maintaining the profile and pages, and tracking ROI.
