I am here in Romania for a conference hosted by the Soros Foundation as part of their pilot advocacy through blogging program. Social Media, NGOs, and Romania View SlideShare presentation or Upload your own. A rating of 100 or more is considered good in Romania. Goal is to provide web presence for most ngos in Romania.

Ukraine has banned all able-bodied men and boys between the ages of 18 and 60 from leaving the country, resulting in millions of displaced women, children, and elderly, but only 3% of grant dollars were earmarked for women and the elderly respectively. The care and protection of children account for 30% of grants and 26% of dollar value.

OvidiuRo's story began in 2001, when Maria Gheorghiu and Leslie Hawke were helping poor women from the ghettos of Bacau, a small city in Romania. The children who had access to education from an early stage of life had the best results. As a result, OvidiuRo decided to focus on helping preschool children through early education.
