I was amazed not only by her energy and intelligence but by her simple, transformative goal: to end homelessness. Monica is trying to reposition her organization as a social justice organization working on solutions to end homelessness.

These organizations were VisionSpring, Code.org, the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, and the Mental Health Center of Denver. I conducted research on four nonprofits that accepted social impact investments and were successfully able to utilize them. The study of their combined narratives revealed several common themes.
