Prior to joining Care2, Ashley spent 10 years at the Student Conservation Association (SCA) where she helped hundreds of young people volunteer on public lands and start careers in conservation.

Jump Rope For Heart and Hoops For Heart are two service learning projects that educate and create awareness among teachers, parents and students ages 7-14. The funds raised from these programs go towards life-saving research and fighting heart disease and stroke.

In the Convio study, 74% of people said they responded most to emotional solicitations that provide info on the people, animals or places in need of their assistance.
